We do accept cash, Visa and Mastercard/Eurocard, Escrow Company billing (additional fee applies, credit card guarantee is required), and on limited case-by-case basis (in our personal discretion) we might accept checks.
For local customers we do accept cash, Visa and Mastercard/Eurocard. If neither one is available to you, a payment must be received before we can process your order. We would accept any certified funds in the form of money order or cashier's check, bank wire (don't forget to add $20 for intermediary bank's fees). We do not accept checks as a form of payment under no circumstances.
General: We do not ship C.O.D. We do not
accept any other form of payment like traveler's checks, postal stamps, food stamps, foreign currency etc. Just for your own protection we thoroughly check billing address of each credit card we bill. Be prepared to give us that address. Billing address is the address where you receive your credit card bill (usually your home address), and is used for verification purposes only. For credit card orders, we do not ship to address, other than your billing address, unless this other address is on file with your credit card company as an
alternate shipping address.
following constitutes the Agreement between Metrotopia, hereinafter "WE", "US", "OUR" and You (or your organization, if you visit us as employee or affiliate of such), hereinafter "YOU", "YOUR". The fact that you are browsing our site and/or placing an order with us by phone, fax or through the Internet constitutes your acceptance of this Agreement in its entirety.
Your service parts order will be processed as promised and if placed before the daily deadline this means the same day. We will do our best to fulfill 100% of all orders, subject to availability. If your order is out of stock (or if some items are out of stock) we will contact you for instructions. In case we are unable to confirm, your order becomes an automatic "backorder" (i.e. we will ship it
when we receive stock). The fact that an item is not available at the time you order it, does NOT entitle you to any remedy (i.e. shipping upgrade, free shipping or free merchandise) as it does not constitute breach of agreement on our part.
Your order must be approved by our credit department
before it can be processed any further. The fact that you have given us your credit card number and expiration date does not automatically mean you order is shipping. In case we receive card rejection by your bank or the billing address does not match the Address Verification Service records, we may need to contact you and your bank before processing the order. In case of a prepaid orders (specially these prepaid by non-certified funds) we need to wait for your instrument to
clear the bank which in certain cases may mean a week or more, before we are able to further process your order. The fact that your order can not pass our credit criteria immediately does NOT entitle you to any remedy (i.e. shipping upgrade, free shipping or free merchandise) as it does not constitute breach of agreement on our part.
Your order will be shipped prepaid and insured by a carrier of your choice. (Metrotopia recommends FedEx for the most of the US and international orders.) If the order value is less than $100 it's insurance is covered by the FedEx at no charge. For orders valued more than $100, we will add carriers insurance fee. Just in case you want your order mailed
to you, we DO NOT process, submit or relay any claims with the United States Postal Service or any other government Post Office anywhere - in this case we would insure your shipment promptly, but note that it is all your responsibility to claim your money from them in case it gets lost or damaged.
In case you decline the insurance, no matter who the carrier is (we need this in writing - by e-mail, fax or snail-mail) and the shipment gets lost or damaged, it will be your
responsibility. Once the order is shipped and is in possession of the carrier you chose, it is deemed to be in your (your agent's) possession, hence our responsibility for lost or damaged items ends at that same point.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT POLICY
Metrotopia provides free telephone technical support service
with respect to installation and configuration of all hardware products repaired or serviced by Metrotopia for ninety (90) days from the date of shipment or pickup, but not later than one hundred and twenty (120) days from the date it became available for customer pickup. The Metrotopia telephone technical support service number in the United States is +1-310-473-2100.
Any equipment serviced by us and not claimed by the customer for more than thirty (30) days after
it was available for pickup, and a notice - by the telephone or address given to us on the Service order - was given to the customer, is deemed abandoned, the title to that item passes over to us and we have the right to sell the item to partially satisfy the repair and storage charges. You are still responsible for the balance owed on the Service order.
